Starrett 196 indicator DIY repair?

Any videos on how to repair these or remove the dial face what about a part source?

I think Long Island Indicator has documented the 196 repair and offers a booklet. They have parts too, but I hear they are expensive.
 
Do you have a part number a kit would be easier to order?
 
Got it apart the face just pops off and the pointer to. Looks like the jewel bearing is broke any idea on price?

Used, working 196’s are available from around $30 on eBay and would probably be your best bet.
 
Send it to MR Tool Repair, Mark Ratkowski. He has repaired probably a dozen or more of my auction finds. He'll give you an quote once he receives it. He is fair priced, inspects and cleans everything, replaces what needs to be replaced.
