Steam whistle

Hi, I have just made a steam whistle, now I need to make a valve for it. Are there plans for this, and where would I find them? Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks for that. What I would like to see is the inside of that so I can make a smaller version.

Where's the steam inlet?

It's just a poppet valve. A poppet is a spindle valve body with a shaft and spring so it returns to one position (closed). Pretty primitive, like steam itself!
