storage idea

One thing I am always looking to do is store more stock in a smaller place in a way I can get at it. For stock under 18" I have found steel wine racks with scrap 4" PVC works great.



You can see the black wine rack under the PVC. I got these from a second hand store for $1.00 each. They are probably holding 100 lbs or more here. With this I can group by metal type and/or shape. If I take a piece from the bottom it doesn't move the stuff at the top and I can put things in the lower areas without lifting the rest of the pile.

I know its a simple idea but it may help someone. :tiphat:

I keep my 1/16" up to 1/2" drill rod in PVC tubes. Keeps it straight and smooth, all in one spot. Cool that yours can get stock from lower in the pile, without alot of work!

Now that I like.
Going through a bit of a clean up at the moment so I may have to build something similar and hide it under the bench.
