SX2.7 - LMS5500 Vertical Feed

Has anyone designed / built / purchased a vertical power feed for these mills?

I did not adequately consider the arrangement on these machines. I should have bought the Grizzly X3 (apparently NLA).

I’ve had a Priest Tools Z-axis power lift on my LMS 5500 since 2018.

I don’t use the mill a lot, only for an occasional project, but the power lift has worked fine. I have the original model. Priest updated it with some new features around 2020 as I recall. Be aware that the one I have is quite loud. When the newer model came out, I asked Greg Priest, the owner, if the new model was quieter than the original. At that time, he said they would be similar, but he was investigating quieter motors. I don’t know more than that. You might give him a call or an email if that’s a concern.
