I got this drill bit with some other stuff at an auction a while back.
It's a big one. 1 5/8in dia and nearly 29in long. #4 morse taper - made by Cleveland Twist Drill Co.
I made a hanger for it this morning and put it above the furnace door in my shop office.
Had no way to use it before. Now it can serve as an ornament.

Randal beat me to it.

That drill bit looks like a M2 .50 cal barrel from here. Big chunk of metal. Looks like it reaches deeper than a boring bar...
