Does anyone here use two sided flat laps/hand lapping plates? It seems a neat way to get two laps in one so to speak. But before I jump in and start preparing the bottom surfaces of my laps I'm wondering about potential issues that might arise from this.
The first being, how do you prevent contamination of one side by the other? Surely abrasive particles will flow down and end up on the bottom surface sooner or later...
Then there is a matter of actually using and storing such two sided lap. How to do it without messing up "the bottom"?
