Upshur vertical overhead valve engine

Building my first IC engine , have made steam & hot air engines . My question is has any one used a hall effect transistor & magnet ignition on a Upshur vertical overhead valve engine ? If so what modifications to the engine did you make ? I want to use a Economy ignition package from model-engine-ignition.com . has anyone used this on a Upshur engine ? Thanks for your help .
