Vevor 8” dividing head cleanup

Hi guys,

I have to cleanup the vevor 8” dividing head. How am I supposed to remove the chuck I put the indexing lever on the quick indexing disk attached to the head and tried to unscrew it but it look stuck.

I have at times just hammered on one chuck jaw with a soft hemmer (lead). Usually it does not take much to loosen a chuck on a dividing head, since there is no cutting force/torque to tighten the chuck as with a lathe, when I install a chuck on a dividing headI thread it on by hand ans set it against the step with a quick snap so that it dies not loosen with vibration while cutting takes place
