Water Jet cutting questions

Plasma or Laser should be cheaper than waterjet.

At my manufacturing facility, we have 2 waterjets (both Wardjets) and when I do quotes, I budget $120/hr on the waterjets for a stand-alone job; $105/hr if I can fit the job in the drop area of a scheduled project.

Turns out I forgot the First Law of Fabrication: KISS

Feller on another board has done this and pointed out that the original mount will slip over a piece of 2x2 tubing and pin in place without modification. Simple, easy, and best of all, versatile as you can weld pieces on all four corners of the plate and put the sickle bar wherever is most convenient for the task at hand.
