Are these zamak metal?
I believe the SB stuff is CA or Brass.

10F-12 is the split nut for 10" & 12" Atlas-Craftsman lathes, and probably other lathes as well.

You are absolutely correct Bill , they fit the 12" Atlas . I verified this after mountain climbing thru the garage to get to the lathe .

I had the 10" but sold it and found these in a bucket . As they say on the " pickers " , put'em in the pile .

All South Bend half nuts that I have ever seen are cast iron.
