Hardinge TM & UM questions, weight & diffs?

That auction was just down the road a few miles. Saw these little Hardinge machines in person. They were spectacular. As were several as new HLVH lathes. Somebody got some real collectors pieces. Bought 4 pickup loads of stuff. Mostly tooling and cabinets.
I got stuff from both auction days there as well, but it was a lot longer drive for me! Unfortunately, they had a lot of the smaller items before the bigger stuff I was interested in, so I didn't bid on a lot of it just to prevent driving all that way for something worth $100. It was pretty impressive stuff to look at and if I was closer I probably would have filled the truck a couple of times as well!

There's a UM for sale on Facebook Marketplace in Ruffs Dale, PA. It says no vertical head, but there's one in the pictures...not sure what that's about.
