A little late chiming in here. Reeltor was asking for a definition of "three turns plus .035" according to the Cincinnati Treasa. The old Cincinnati, K & T, B & S mills all have four pitch lead screws on the table movements, that equals to one turn=.250". So three turns is equal to .750" plus .035" equals to .785. That is very close to .7854". Back then, trying to index the last .0004" was not practical as it is today.
