I'm fitting a Clough42 ELS to my lathe and am worried I've broken something. I got the firmware loaded on to the TI board and got the controller hooked up and the soldering all done.
When I tried to test it out yesterday, I stupidly laid the back of the controller panel on a metal surface, so all of the solders on the back of it would be connected essentially. From watching the videos on YouTube, I believe that powering this up I should see "Clough42" printed on the LEDs and the firmware show up as well. I get nothing but a single red LED lit up:
Have I broken it? Is there a way to test that it's ok? I'm not sure where to go with this.
