Power Tools Catalog 1936. Contains photo and listing of the first version A/C 12" lathe (101.07380) and the description of the stripped-down version (101.07360). Note that until some time after WW-II, the catalog numbers bore no resemblance to the model numbers. When this practice changed, they did not go back and change the catalog numbers. So the first 12" lathes made under this new practice appear in the 1951 Sears PT Catalog. Also, the four (after 1947 only two) bed length options did not have unique model numbers until the same time. In fact, the first three models of the 101.0736x and 101.0738x and first two models of the 101.0740x did not even have unique catalog numbers. This changed in 1939. But it was 10 or 11 more years before the model numbering system changed for the lathes, with the introduction of the QCGB equipped 101.27430 and 101.27440.
