My Boyar 612H motor had been replaced by a previous owner. With a GE 1ph motor. After running it for about 2-3 mins, I noticed some white smoke… Motor was warm to the touch. Took motor off, took it apart and cleaned out the grinding dust. Replaced several wires with crumbling insulation...- tcweb
