I've always wanted a 1940 Ford... since I was a teenager...

I never thought I would own one because the nice ones are priced too high for me, all that I've seen in my price range are pretty clapped out.

So when I found one for sale at a reasonable price, I didn't hesitate...

I drove up to Tennessee yesterday and brought this home...

It runs and drives great... everything works... I just have to get 'reaquainted' with a 'three on the tree' shifter...!

Very nice! Prices are crazy in most places that is for sure. Nothing like a old car with no electrical modern gremlin to deal with. Enjoy!

I have the clothes for our ‘36. On the rear deck instead of a violin case we have a lamb chop gun case and I am looking for a kids violin to put in it!

That's a beautiful car. I've got too many toys in my life to be adding cars to that list. If I did though, that'd be the one. It's even the right color. I hope you enjoy that one just as much as I'd like to think I would. Awesome find.
