$25 Horizontal mill - any idea who made this?

Well, I went to an auction today that had a milling machine and lathe listed - the lathe was a fairly nice Atlas and the milling machine was Harbor Freight gear head mill - then there was the other mill listed as a Horizontal Milling Machine. Well, no one else wanted this poor old thing so I purt a starting bid of $25 on it and ended up with it! I can't find any names or name plates on it. Here are some photos - Any one know anything about this little beast?
Don't know if any one cares, but this fine old mill is painted with the red that bleaches out to the
"pink" lately mentioned in connection with an old lathe on another thread. The pigment bleaches
in cleaning and sunlight.I was reminded of this the other day, when I bought a shaft mount (red)which turned pink when I washed it with CASTROL purple and water. This pigment was not
used after those early days. ....BLJHB.

I did take the time last night when I was putting the mower up to grab the MT3 dead center for my lathe and try it in the spindle - it fit nicely, so I'm pretty darned sure this thing has a MT3 spindle. At least I will be able to find some collets for end mills if I want to play with end mills in it. I need to align the jack shaft under the table with the mill pulley - it climbs onto the rim when I turn it by hand right now and I can see that it is off to one side about half the belt width. The spindle seems to be nice and tight in the bronze bushings, but I should probably take the belts off and check it that way to get a better idea of how much wear there is. It looks like it has been kept well oiled! Guess I need to see if I can find some cutters...

Lewis, for sure. There is a groups.io forum for them. https://groups.io/g/Lewis-Machine-Tools/topics . Mine is in there. Because they were kits, people customized them radically. The one I have has been converted to vertical with the addition of a Benchmaster head. I’m trying to make it back into a horizontal, but lack the overarm support, and have to machine an arbor. Would like to make a casting from an original, but can’t get someone to loan me one.
