Zoro is selling the TCI KDRMA27L1 2hp (rated 7.5 amp motor, 10 amps max, 3%) Line/load reactor for $40.35 right now, down from $92.73. I just ordered one and applied a coupon to bring it to $34.30.
With 5 bucks shipping and tax, total was $41.90 delivered.
Hard to beat that deal with a beating machine. If you have an old 2hp motor like my Bridgeport, (tropical rating B) on a VFD, it can help motor life if placed right after and close to the VFD.
Put it into a 6x6x6 3/4/12 steel enclosure and you are good to go. Ground the enclosure well.
