3 jaw scroll that I don't know how to adjust vs independent 4 jaw backing plate

This is the gang of 6" 3 jaw chucks, all but the Rohm can switch out the backing plate I think. Could someone look, and tell me if the Rhom can be switched out to D1-6?

 
Direct mount can't be changed. Take a straight shot of the front of the chuck.
Direct mounts are shorter than backplate mounted chucks. Is it shorter, I can't tell.
 
Yes sir, it is shorter, bummer for me though.
 
Yeah that's direct mount. It will have a weird markings on the face with like a left turning arrow. At least mine did.
 
The PBA and the Buck appear to have back plates, the Buck is a set-true style but the PBA appears to have a bit better jaws. Probably would keep the PBA, and back plate would be less expensive.
 
Like these arrows. It means do not remove.
