i'm working on a Christmas gift for my mother and i needed to cut some .250" thick x 1-1/2" red oak for decorative flair
i have a inexpensive plastic miter box and a 10" compound miter saw already,
but, i wanted something for a smaller scale that i could use with a Japanese pull saw
so i designed a smaller scale miter box on TinkerCad
i printed it out overnight and glued and stapled the miter box to a scrap of white oak to make it easy to grip in a vise or on my vintage B&D Workmate
here's the pictures of the miter box!
first pic has a 1-1/2" piece of oak in it for scale
i'll post more about the project the miter box is for in another thread
