Use another lathe with a single point tool to retrace it.
Might be able to use your own lathe if you can choke up on the screw.

As @machPete99 suggested, or, if the threads at the end of the screw are non-functional, turn it down to the minor diameter.

Here's a company that sells LH Acme rethreading dies. They're probably expensive since they say, "call for price".
