Haven't had a reply since I told him I was going to be in town.
He realized I wasn't looking to have it shipped.
Name, Potter Lincoln, new FB account. Commenting turned off.
I reported the ad.
 
Shopping online is challenging,
Ebay has somewhat better fraud protection but their policies make it hard to see something in person before buying, whereas buying on fbm and craigslist are strictly in-person cash in hand transactions as far as I'm concerned.
 
I checked this guys FB profile and found a few other listings. Google image search revealed that they had been lifted from Offerup listings, one of them 5 years old. All of his listings state Redding, CA, none of the ones the images came from do. He hadn't turned of commenting on those listings, so I commented.
 
The eBay seller is legit at least. Purchased end mills and other items from him multiple times.
