Adapter plate

Makes one wonder about the fitment/taper, seems awfully porous. I would return it, they pay for postage or issue a refund. Anything that spins and can fail is not worth the risk.
 
Thanks all for your input, I appreciate it. I spoke with Gary at CME, told him what the issue was and sent him pics of the adapter plate. He sent out a replacement out the next day, which I've received already. It was my first purchase/experience with CME and while I wish the item did not need to be replaced they, CME, made it right immediately.
