I had an ultrasonic cleaner I got from a previous employer that had two 1000w tanks and a rinse tank. It was a stainless monster that I could put whole blocks into when I had my kart engine building business, probably about 10-15 gallons each .
A small one would be good, bigger is more good but for carbs a little one would do the trick. Often it's the only tool that will get them clean on the inside where it counts. I ended up trading mine to the guy who stores my boat and stuff for his marine repair shop, he was skeptical when I first helped him set it up but now he's a believer.
I often said it's the tool that every mechanic wishes they had, dirty parts go in and clean ones come out....
I used the yellow de-greaser from Harbor Freight mixed with water, really no need for solvent if you change out the fluid on a regular basis.
Cheers,
