Air tools ?

I have both air and electric versions of several hand tools and almost always use the electric tools except for an I-R pneumatic random orbital sander which is my one and only. Partly it's the low shape which fits perfectly under one hand. It's absolutely vibration free and runs cool. The electric tools are all tall and clunky and seem top heavy due to the length of the motor shaft. I just use it for final sanding of wood with 220 grit paper prior to varnishing. It is a little glutton for air. I have a couple of vintage Milwaukee (non-random) orbital sander which are more aggressive and good for blending joints where the grain direction changes, they but don't match the smooth swirl free sanding of the air tool.
