I also use a natural starter to make all my daily bread, but do not usually make the really sour breads. I have lately been making spent grain bread, which is terrific:

I'm a baking teacher at a Sydney Technical college but my brother and I have a personal interest in sourdough baking.

If you haven't found them already, there are a number of other members who make split bamboo fly rods. A search for bamboo fly rods will turn them up.

Doing a search for "making a split cane flyrod" and also "making a bamboo flyrod" has turned up many different sites.
