Anybody here have a Niles shaper and need parts?

Ever heard of Niles shaper before Tom? I don’t claim to be any kind of shaper expert but the last couple of days has seen more obscure shapers posted than I could ever imagine! It looks like that shaper has already been cannibalized doesn’t it? Or are the other parts not shown and it’s been “disassembled for our convenience “ :)
 
Yeah. They are cropping up out of the weeds. :big grin: Looks like all the good parts have been stripped from it.
 
This is my ad. I bought out a machine shop and this came with it. I can’t find much about it but it appears it was made before 1899 when Niles changed their name. Someone converted it to electric and used a garden tractor transmission for variable speeds. It’s a really tight machine and everything worked fine. I don’t need it but I kept the table for another project. All the gears are in great condition. I’m going to scrap it soon so I thought I’d post it Incase anyone had one and needed parts.

Too bad you are not close. I would get it and stick it out in front of my shop.
