Late last year, I ordered a replacement arbor support bar from Joel at mymachineshop.
It appears to be thicker than the original bar, and the bottom hangs over my knee collar by ~3/16".
I never had an original bar, and his version is ~5/8" thick and looking at the schematic in the downloads section, I'm trying to understand if the thicker part at the bottom faces towards or away from the machine. If it's towards the machine, given the original is thinner on the rest of the bar, it would pull the bottom in ~1/8", and keep my dial clear.
The other possibility is that my pins aren't in far enough (see attached picture), though I can't seem to get them in farther than that.
Joel has offered to shave the bar down, but I do like the hefty thickness, and he's sold many, so we were both surprised this is the first time anyone has run into this.
