Atlas 7B Shaper

Hi everyone, I need assistance dating an atlas 7B shaper. I acquired it a couple months back and am starting to prepare for the restoration but I honestly don’t know much about these things. I am interested to find out what era it is from though. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The serial number appears to be 1485 .Thanks

I would say early 40's with a number of 1485. My old Atlas 7 was serial #1202 and we figured it was a 1939 model.

I think that most little shapers date approximately to the WW-2 era mostly used for training purposes, I was told.

If that's the original motor, it might be 50Hz...

I don’t think it is. The tag says 60hz and it is a craftsman motor dated 1951. Wish it were the original
