Atlas on Ebay

s1dev,

Your ebay link is incomplete and a search based on what did show turns up more than one hit. If you are posting a comment or question about something on eBay, just post the Item Number. The complete link is unnecessary.

s1dev,

Even at 400, you'll be spending quite a bit on tooling and extra bits to flesh out its capabilities. Also note that pulley mounted to the countershaft, its not an atlas part that I've seen before, though from the looks of it you'd be driving your gears much slower with it. On the plus side, its a 12" with power cross feed, and that's a nice feature to have. Assuming all the bits are in good order, it wouldn't be too terribly bad of a purchase, though IMHO I think you could do better. And it should easily fit in the small 5' uhaul trailers.

it sold this morning to someone else. Where would be a good place to look for lathes in the DFW area? It seems like there aren't very many craigslist or ebay opportunities out there.
