Finally found a VN -12 in California and am having it shipped home.
Now I am looking for an indexing head. Does anyone have any experience with these import copies of the Brown and Sharp #0 or #1 indexing head? Specifically I would like to know what level of precision they really deliver, and if either model is robust enuf for working mild steel on the VN 12?
Also interested how generally they compare to old beat up dividing heads that proliferate on eBay?
(Yep, I know there is always the gem out there, right around the corner, ready to fall into my lap- that no one else knows about, but realistically, Iam pretty much betting that kind of barn find isn't going to happen...)
