I have an Albrecht drill chuck and thought the JT33 taper was what I needed, but it turns out I need the B16 because the JT33 won't fit properly. B16 is somewhat hard to find here in the US, so I may end up trying to turn one on the lathe from an existing R8 with a larger taper, or maybe a piece of scrap and go with a straight shank for use with a collet.
Anyone know the angle of taper for B16? I've seen some sources that indicate it is the same angle as MT2, so I could just copy that angle but I'd prefer to know the spec so I can check myself before getting into the work.
