Boring Head Shank Source

Hello, first post for me, hope I am in the right place. I acquired a Bridgeport (brand) #2 boring head that has an abused shank, and I want to change the shank. I unscrewed the damaged shank and find a 1.25" x 20 tpi thread. I sent 8 or 10 emails to various suppliers and they all responded with other threads. I can not locate an R8 shank with 1.25" x 20 thread. Does anyone know of a source? Thanks

Seems you might need to do some searching around. I had a quick look at a few supplyers, and the 1 1/2 X18
seemed to be common. You could also make one depending on your skills. Could be a good project for you. Though if you could just buy a new one, it would save you all the trouble. I seen them for 14.00 dollars.
