Box Gutters and Trim for My Steel Building

A quick follow-up to this thread. I got the new parts installed a couple of months ago. The first step was cutting a sample out of the damaged area and adjusting the marking tools as needed to match reality. Took the better part of three days to get the damaged section down and make/install the new parts. Came out fine. The new parts and shiny and dark, the old parts are dull and faded. Time will even things out some but they will never color matched.

Looks great Bill. I had an adventure in gutters too but went with prefab aluminum. Luckily there was a good YouTube to help me with the splices and details about hangars. I’m about halfway through my run and as usual another major house project has inserted itself into the middle of things. Gotta love it.

Yep, that happens. I've got one more hurricane repair to do, that one requires setting up my scaffolds in an awkward place and moving the system at least three times to finish the job. Still some airplane parts to work on too.......
