Thought I'd start a new thread to collect all of those brief moments of clarity where we discover something new (to us, at least).
To start off, I have a number of thin cases with tools, bits, etc. in them, and limited space for storage so some of them are stored vertically in unoccupied regions of the shop floor. This morning (after knocking the case over for the umpteenth time) I realized that I hade the solution – bookends:
