Bridgeport 2j belt change

I’m changing the variable speed belt on my 2j is there anything I should look for/check Lubricate etc. while I have it open? Maybe I’m being premature about changing the belt it probably has a lot of life left in it!

I suggest checking the bushings... they are thin and you don't want them to wear though, because it can ruin the motor armature, pulley bores, etc.. This kit is what I used to change mine:
