Looking for a LED magnetic adjustable work light for my Powermatic vertical bandsaw .. What have you used thats the brightest ???

For corded lights check here, I have the Quasar, it's super bright.

My son-in-law has a floor model of this one. I suspect this bench model is the same unit but with a different base. It's super bright - like 'can't look directly at it bright - but its real advantage is you can also plug it into a 110 outlet with an extension cord. I'm hoping to find that Dewalt makes a similar light to be compatible with all my other battery powered tools. If not, I'll probably end up with one of these in my shop.

Regards

I have two of these 390 lumen rechargeables (magnetic base), and I use them constantly. Keep one in the welding shop, and it makes a huge difference when viewing the puddle. The adjustable angle is a great feature. I see they also have a 500, and an 800 lumen version but the 390 has been more than adequate for me. I think I've purchased five of these at this point: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0877794DG

No cord, long battery life, very bright, magnet strong enough to actually be usable. I don't know what I'd do without them. BrightEST? Who knows? I haven't tried them all...

I use a similar one that HF sells. It is a Braun rechargeable. I keep one on the Mill and one in the house. I've tried many other types and styles including ones that you wear like a head band and this one work best for me. I have 3 4 foot Led shop lights hanging above my 2 lathes and Mill and as good as they are I seem to never have enough light in the right place. My pocket magnifiers all have LEDs built into them. Can you tell I am an old guy? LOL I have gave several to friends and family members. https://www.harborfreight.com/390-lumen-led-rechargeable-magnetic-slim-bar-work-light-56329.html

I don't have a specific recommendation but I will offer this. I never buy LED lighting that doesn't have an outpit rating in lumens. Super bright , high intensity, etc. are meaningless marketing terms. Even candela or candlepower don't mean a lot without knowing the size of the beam. For reference, a 60 watt incandescent bulb produces about 800-900 lumens, a 75 watt about 1200 lumens, and a 100 watt about 1600 lumens. You will actually get more light from a from a similarly rated directional LED as the light is concentrated in the forward direction.
