Hi,
Built this little marking tool yesterday, needed to do something different for a change.
Walnut and Brass, came out pretty good, I surprised myself..
Of Course, had to look at a drawing.

I have built a few similar tools, I used IPE (ironwood), looks similar to walnut, but much harder, available as wood decking material.
