bullet concentricity gage

A fixture I made for checking bullet concentricity. I must confess the design isn't mine. I rather shamelessly copied it from a catalogue. It works very well but I find that it sits on the shelf more than it gets used.

Light press fit with super glue for insurance. I also noticed a difference in the ammo. Using the same cases and bullets on subsequent reloads yielded same results. The ones that were out got turned or put away. I enjoy making this stuff as much as I do using it.

I did not make this, but it is available for $280. Very nice, but I have a commercial gauge that is less sophisticated and works OK.
