Can I Post Equations?

1. I wrote a LibreOffice Write document with an equation in it; selected the text and the equation; copied it; then pasted it here: (I am trying here, since I could not do the following at the other site)


This is a little test document to see how much of it can be posted at LinuxCNC.



Equation with Greek letters:

2. The equation does not get pasted.


3. Next, I used Greenshot to select an area of the document containing the equation, capturing it as an image; pasted it below: (SUCCESS ! I can express arithmetic and math concepts in a tidy way. Thanks, hobby-machinist.com)

4. The equation shows. Good.

I had to convert the file to a *pdf in order to upload the file.

I tried to post this as a test at LinuxCNC.org, but could not.

I will post this here, then see if the attached *.pdf is available.
