I have not yet fired up my new to me SB9 model C. It came with a bunch of collets and the collet insert for the spindle. It did not come with the pull down rod or the spindle nut to push the whole mess free.
I figured that those items would be a good place to start and learn to cut threads inside and out.... I have looked about for any dimensions so I can order some stock wand start cutting when I fire this thing up. I can figure the rod female threads from the collets but I would like to know rod thickness and length. Also the outside dimension of the spindle nut. Any advice on type or steel to order and even where would also help. Much to learn......Thanks for any help in this project. JB
