Yep, these are a special need. I build firearms out of parts kits as a hobby. Right now I'm doing a dushka, or DSHK.

The bolt and carrier are as hard as a hooker's heart, dulls cobalt. I need odd sizes, carbide twist drills seem the best option. I did buy one from McMaster carr. they are more expensive, but it did work. Guess I'll go that route. I had originally hoped to take advantage of a 20% off sale at Enco.
