Hi, a friend stopped over today with a nice central machinery bench top 5 speed drill press in the bed of his pick up. It was given to him by a relative and he had no use for it and asked if I would like it. Looking at it I could see it was in very good shape and asked how much he wanted. Over the years I've helped him out and because of that he said if you have a use for it its yours as a thanks for helping him out over the years. Its a 1982 Taiwan made central machinery press that runs like new. So now if he doesn't show up tomorrow with a laundry list of favors I think I scored.

I have a Taiwan made Grizzly floor drill that I've used for more than 30 years (I had to stop and think about that for a bit), and only in the last year or so have the bearings started making some noise. I think I got my money's worth.
