Cleaning out a Mill Sump Reservoir

My hat is off to all you that have tackled this nasty job of cleaning out the sump reservoir on a mill. I do need to count my blessings, though, as the only stench I have encountered is that of the diesel I'm using to soften up the gunk.







Well, I'ma smell like diesel for a few days n git- er-done!

When I picked up my SG , I smelled the coolant tank and just left it there . I haven't smelled that rancid stuff in over 20 years .
