Ha. I understand that. My plumbing IQ is pretty low. It often takes me multiple trips to the hardware store to do even simple plumbing projects. An then I have a excess inventory of parts that rarely seem to be what is needed on the next project.

I ordered a 45deg Flair tool and fittings. They should arrive this week. Hopefully I can get this back together this next weekend. Thanks for all the help everyone.

Do you know a local plumber who would drop by? I would use 2 - 3/4 mnpt x 5/8 flare fittings and a piece of copper.
