Cool Strobe Effect

I was whittling on some aluminum today and needed a bit more light so I picked up one of the new LED flashlights I bought at COSTCO. The strobe effect slowed the cutter down enough that I could see individual cuts being made, and could even precieve the speed change when two inserts were engaged vs one. Not earth shaking but interesting and pretty cool, Check it out.

Nice, I noticed the same thing while running the Clausing last week. When I switched to the "low" beam, I would get the same effect. At around 1900 rpm, it seemed to be perfectly timed to look like the spindle was off.
