Craftsman 8” lathe

There is a Craftsman 8” lathe 549-2892. This is the Emco Austrian. It is for sale $200. I will go check it out if worth looking Not sure if anything else is included. Just 3 jaw that I know of. How are these lathes. Mind you I do not need it as I already have 2 lathes. But if they are good lathes and that price is good. What would one more lathe hurt.

Anybody familiar with the 8” Emco?

Assuming similar condition I'd take the Emco over the Craftsman.

Sears sold Emco lathes for a few years, Unimat, Compact 5 and Compact 8. Other than the color and Craftsman badge they are identical to the Emco branded ones.

Yes I missed out. I asked what else it had. All the change gears and 4 jaw chuck and more. I had no earthly reason to get it other than the price. I came in second.
