Thanks for posting that.

I cut my first thread on my new to me 12x36 Astro Lathe the other night. the Quick Change gear box sure makes it easy to setup. One tip I've found in the past if you don't have a thread pitch gauge like they show in the PDF. A bolt or tap will work just as well. I'd like to take a crack at cutting an acme thread one of these days.

Just have to be careful because not all thread dials / lead screws work the same way. What is written in the South Bend book doesn't work with my import lathe. That cost me a few times in the early days.... :(
