Someone let these treasures sit outside for 20 years. Look at the size of that shaper! (I mean, that oil tanker anchor)

I wonder if Rustoleum offers truckload discounts on evaporust?

It's a crying shame but I don't see any 20 year old trees growing through anything.

Do vines count?

The seller says they've been sitting 20 years. They're pictured sitting outside. Their state of disrepair seems consistent with sitting outside 20 years. They're priced around or just above scrap price. Even if not expressly stated, I don't think it's a stretch.

And you thought a vine was something on the internet- ha

You never know, the damage may not be as bad as it looks in the pics. Mike Wiggins at the Backyard Machine Shop restored an old lathe a couple of years ago that had been sitting outside for longer than that and it turned out to be in pretty decent condition. I wish those weren't 300 miles from me. I'd take a look at the shaper and radial arm drill myself.

300 miles is not that far. Can you say ROADTRIP? (Not Sarcasm, Motivation}

On second thought, I don't think my trailer would hold that shaper. A friend of mine in MO has a monster shaper. It's so cool to see thumb size chuncks thrown clear across the room!
