While looking for other things I found a page explaining how to make bellows.
The instructions are for the bellows of an 11"×14" camera (there is still someone using large format film rather than a smarthpone… just like there is still someone using shapers built in 1800 rather than CNC ) but they can be easily adapted to fit the ways of your lathe or mill.
All you have to do is to replace the light-proof material with something swarf-proof.
See http://my.net-link.net/~jsmigiel/bellows.html

I've seen something similar just recently when lookin at "Bonelle Tool and Cutter Grinder" plans:))
